The Society of Aquaculture Professionals (SAP) on 8th September, 2020 with the support of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) virtually hosted a programme on orientaion to funding opportunities under Pradhan mantri matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Authority(FIDF) for Aquaculture Developement. Dr. C. Suvarna, IFS, Chief Executive of NFDB provided a broad overview on the two schemes (PMMSY and FIDF) to stimulate investments in Fisheries and Aquaculture. Shri. G. Rathinaraj and Shri. Arul Bosco Prakash, Executive Directors, NFDB explained in detail the Orientation to PMMSY and FIDF respectively. The guidelines for both the schemes are available at NFDB and DoF websites.
